Meet Dr. John Michael Quinn
Dr. John Michael Quinn serves Overland Park, Kansas City and surrounding areas as an experienced plastic and reconstructive surgeon. Among several Kansas City plastic surgeons, Dr. Quinn prides himself on his ability to listen to patients in order to achieve the desired result.
Dr. Quinn has been a practicing plastic surgeon for more than 29 years. His customized procedures set him apart from other Kansas City area plastic surgeons, producing beautiful and natural-looking results for his patients. Dr. Quinn is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Kim – Patient Care Coordinator
Kim came to Quinn Plastic Surgery in 2013 with many years of experience at the front desk in different medical offices. She started out as Office Coordinator but was quickly ready for more. As Patient Care Coordinator, she now consults with patients desiring cosmetic surgery and loves being a part of every patient’s journey in achieving the confidence and satisfaction they’ve always wanted! Kim moved to Kansas with her family in 1999 and is proud to call Kansas her home. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, but shares her boundless energy volunteering in the community, practicing yoga, and staying fit. Outgoing and friendly, she will make you feel at home when you come in.
Maureen – Patient Care Coordinator
Maureen graduated from K-State in 2014 with a degree in Communications, which she put to good use as a traveling consultant for Cerner. She enjoyed working with clinical staff and physicians but her heart was in working on the patient side of healthcare. She brought that love of patient care to Quinn Plastic Surgery in 2016, where her energy and charisma are truly appreciated. In her free time she still loves to travel, but now indulges in travel with family and friends. She also enjoys taking spin classes, strolling the Country Club Plaza, and spoiling her niece.
Kari – RN, Clinical Care Specialist
Kari brought her big smile to Quinn Plastic Surgery in 2013, and brightens the lives of patients and staff every day. She loves meeting patients and being part of their journey toward self-confidence. She came to us from KU Pediatrics, so she has been helping patients of all ages feel comfortable seeing the doctor. In her spare time, she’s very active with two athletic boys, and still squeezes in time to enjoy music and fitness.
Cheryl – Billing/Insurance
Cheryl has been with Quinn Plastic Surgery for a number of years. She has recently taken a more permanent position in the practice since returning in August 2018. Cheryl works with the billing and insurance as well as other office related duties. It’s not uncommon to see her performing patient care related activities as well as performing spa treatments. Cheryl earned her BSN, MSN and PhD from The University of Kansas. She is board certified in Emergency Nursing and Plastic Surgery and is an educator for health care professionals.
When not at work Cheryl enjoys walking, cooking, entertaining and spending time with her family and friends.
Claya – Surgical Technician
Claya joins us straight from Dr. Quinn’s operating room at Menorah Medical Center. Since she has assisted Dr. Quinn in so many procedures she has an in-depth knowledge of what surgeries will entail, the kind of knowledge that is of great value to our patients. She is originally from the Kansas City area and currently lives in Lee’s Summit with her husband and two beautiful children. When she isn’t with her MANY sisters and friends, she can be found spending any extra free time outdoors. Claya makes sure to build a trusting relationship with all her patients, ensuring a great cosmetic and reconstructive surgery experience.
Tracy – Spa Coordinator
Tracy is the spa coordinator in the day spa. She has been in the industry for many years and she received her aesthetics license in 2004. Along with managing all aspects of the Day Spa, she has a strong desire to care for and listen to the needs of patients. She is very knowledgeable on the products and services we offer and can assist you with any questions or concerns you may have. In her spare time, Tracy enjoys fitness and and being with her family.
Jaime – RN, BSN, Nurse Injector
Jaime is trained to treat multiple skin conditions and identify the best product or procedure to help patients achieve their desired outcome. She is passionate about educating our patients on ways to improve their skin. Jaime has had many years’ experience with injecting cosmetic fillers. She takes time to listen to patients’ concerns and to create individualized treatment plans. Jaime spent nine years in pharmaceutical and medical device sales before returning to school to obtain a second bachelor’s degree, this time in nursing. In 2009, she graduated with honors from Baker University School of Nursing. Jaime enjoys spending time outdoors. When indoors, Jaime and her four year-old daughter can often be found sorting and admiring their collection of old sewing buttons.
Sharon – Aesthetician
Sharon received her aesthetics license in 2009 and has a wealth of experience and training in the medical aesthetic field. She has completed certification courses in the following: Sciton BBL, Thermage, LipoSonix, Hydrafacial, Skin Pen, and Clear and Brilliant. Sharon has also completed courses in Laser Safety/Biophysics of Laser Applications and attends yearly product seminars. She has developed expertise in performing skin tightening, laser hair reduction, laser skin treatments, BBL treatments, chemical peels, Hydrafacials, facials, waxing and microdermabrasions, and is very experienced in evaluating skin types to determine the best solutions for each individual. She is a volunteer for the “Look Good…Feel Better” campaign, a program with the American Cancer Society. Sharon feels that she has the very best clients and enjoys helping them obtain and maintain beautiful, healthy skin while giving them the highest quality of care. Sharon is married with two children. In her free time she enjoys cooking, traveling, cheering on the Razorbacks and Cowboys, and spending time with her family at Lake Stockton.
Eileen – Front Desk Coordinator
