The Science of Smoother Skin
Restylane is a face-filler that brings back your skin’s natural glow using a hyaluronic acid formula that helps to promote the natural hyaluronic acid in your body. While bringing the volume back to the face, Restylane also brings back the natural elasticity in your skin, which helps you stay looking young and refreshed. Dr. Quinn's aesthetic team has years of experience with med spa techniques and offer free consultations — schedule yours today, knowing you’ll receive some of the best care with Restylane Kansas City has to offer.
While getting rid of wrinkles and creases is already a wonderful benefit, it is also worth noting that Restylane is long-lasting, natural-looking, and FDA-approved. This treatment is great for those who are looking for a quick, painless solution that will provide noticeable and satisfying results!
The Best Choice for Your Best Self
Restylane is not suited for those 21 and under, nor should you get these treatments if you are breastfeeding or have a previous history of allergic reactions to similar products. This product is best suited for those who are experiencing moderate to severe signs of aging around the face and lips. Dr. Quinn's aesthetic team is known for keeping your best interests in mind. The team at Quinn Aesthetic Center uses their expertise to guide patients through every step of the process to gain the best results possible. The best way to know if Restylane is the right choice for you is to schedule a free consultation.
What To Expect
Once you have scheduled your appointment, the hard part of the procedure is over! Your provider at Quinn Aesthetic Center will prepare a syringe of Restylane treatment to administer through a very small needle into the face. A small pinch may be felt during the injection. There may be some pressure if the injection needs to be shaped a bit, but minimal to no pain should be felt. And that’s it!
After the treatment, some slight swelling and bruising may be present. A cold compress can help to prevent or reduce both, and both effects should fade within a few days. Besides some light bruising and swelling, your final product will be almost immediate!
How Long Does it Last?
Restylane provides nearly immediate results. The results are almost instant once the injection is complete and the filler is gently shaped. Within a few days, after any residual swelling and bruising have disappeared, you’ll be ready to go anywhere feeling like yourself again. Most patients report that their results are optimal after the second or third round of treatment, as this has given the body plenty of time to adapt to the new substance and promote that healthy boost of hyaluronic acid. Over time, your body will metabolize the filler. After about six months for hand fillers and about a year for facial fillers, you may need to schedule a touch-up appointment. During your initial Kansas City Restylane appointment, your provider will go over the general timeline with you.
Our Aesthetics team believes in putting their patients first. Not likely! While most patients may feel a slight pinch during the initial administering of the injection, very few have reported anything more than some slight discomfort in the healing process.
Unfortunately, most insurances will not cover Restylane fillers as they are considered cosmetic treatments.
While they are both facial fillers, Restylane is made with a hyaluronic acid base, whereas Radiesse is made with a CaHA solution with a gel carrier base. Restylane also tends to be more affordable than Radiesse. For more information, ask our staff during your consultation which filler would be better suited for your needs.
